When your eye is single, your whole body is also full of light.

The light of the body is the eye.

But when your eye is evil, your body is full of darkness.

If thy whole body is full of light, with no dark parts, the whole shall be full of light, and, like the bright shining of a candle, it gives off the light.

My friends, Be not afraid of those who kill the body because, after that, there is no more they can do. But I will forewarn you who to fear.

Life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; or for the body, what ye shall put on.

The light of the body is the eye. If your eye is clear, your whole body is full of light.

But, if your eye is clouded with evil, your whole body is full of darkness.

Therefore, I say unto you, Take no concern for your life: what ye shall eat, what ye shall drink; nor for your body: what ye shall put on.

Is not life more than food and the body more than raiment?

Fear not those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
